Fernanda Montenegro

Fernanda Montenegro was the first Brazilian actress to be nominated for an Academy Award for her perfomance in Central Station (1998), also nominated for the Academy Award. She is considered the Great Dame of Brazilian television.

Fernanda Montenegro is mother of actress Fernanda Torres and director Cláudio Torres.
